Given what Steve Jobs said in 1996, Apple’s lawsuit against HTC seems to  backfire.

Apple’s lawsuit against HTC for 20 patent infringements of the iPhone suddenly seems a bit ridiculous.

At least if you include what Steve Jobs said in 1996. Then the Apple boss implied that great artists steal.

It happened in the documentary “Triumph of the Nerds”, where Steve Jobs first quoted the painter Pablo Picasso’s words: “Good artists copy,
great artists steal”.

Then he continued on his own account:

We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas!

Maybe HTC should include this statement in their defense when the trial starts?
