Google invests more and more into so-called cloud computing. Now they have announced that they have bought Picnik, an online service to edit images directly in your browser.


Some of the editing you can do in Picnik includes cropping, resizing, rotation, and the ability to change brightness and contrast. For those of you who want more features there is Picnik Premium, which costs $ 25 per year.


According to the developers, support for sites like Facebook, Flickr, MySpace, Yahoo Mail, and Photobucket will still be available in the future.
