The game Gran Turismo 5 is rumored to support the new PlayStation Move controller.

Gran Turismo 5 for PlayStation 3 has been delayed many times now, and there is still no set release date for the game. The latest rumors says it will be released around October 2010.

Perhaps the reason for the perpetual postponement is that the game had to be incorporated with support for motion control? The U.S. PlayStation blog mentions GT5 as one of the titles that will support the new PlayStation Move. No more details than this is mentioned, and it is not confirmed officially by Sony, so it will be interesting to see if it actually is true.

There has also been some talk about the game supporting 3D technology. But that has also not been confirmed officially by Sony. But the idea that GT5 will be used as a launch title for the PlayStation Move, as well as Sony’s new 3-D TV’s is not too far fetched. We are waiting to hear anything official from the company.

Oher ‘featured’ titles listed alongside the peripheral include TV Superstars, Sports Champions, Move Party, Motion Fighter and SOCOM 4 – all of which Sony said would be compatible with Move at GDC last week. ModNation Racers and Disney’s Split/Second are also listed.
