Early next month, the beta testing of Windows Live Messenger for iPhone and iPod Touch will be launched.

Just over a month ago, Microsoft released the first beta version of Messenger 8 for Mac. Now there are reports of a version of Windows Live Messenger for the iPhone in the works.

According to the site Neowin
, a limited beta testing of Windows Live Messenger to iPhone will begin next month.
The public will then have access to the beta version in June. To back up the story Neowin has published no fewer than nine screenshots that show how Windows Live Messenger on the iPhone looks.

The pictures reveal that among other things, it will be possible to share your photos through the program. In addition, a social stream lets you know if a friend changed their profile picture slide or are connected to Facebook.

Microsoft already has a number of applications on the App Store, including Bing, Tag Reader and Seadragon Mobile .
