Rumors are spreading around the internet about a new service from Google, which will compete with Facebook.
According to Kevin Rose, the man who founded Digg.com, Google plans to launch a social service that will compete directly with Facebook. Rose wrote this on his twitter account, and quotes a very reliable source. Nothing else is known, except the potential name, Google Me.
It is also speculated in that Google Me will be built over existing Google Profiles, and may incorporate technologies from Buzz and Wave, but that the new service will be made even more accessible to the public.
