One of the biggest news of Android 2.2, according to Google, is that performance is optimized. Something that will mainly be visible in games using advanced graphics and Google Maps.

Another new feature is that it is possible to use the mobile as a “hotspot” for wireless networks. This allows up to 8 other devices in your vicinity to take advantage of your Android phone, and get internet access via 3G.

You can also use your Android-powered phone as a 3G connection for a Windows or Linux laptop by connecting their phone to the computer with a USB cable. The connection is then shared between the two devices.
