Playstation 3 Slim comes in new versions with larger hard drive and will also be available in white, in a few months.

In a press release, Sony announce that the PlayStation 3 Slim will be available in new versions soon. Hard drive sizes will increase to 160 or 320 gigabytes (previously 120 and 250 gigabytes). The new versions will be available in “Charcoal Black”, as it is today, and the new “Classic White”.

In Europe we will have to wait, as is usually the case with Sony. It is the Japanese market who will get the new models first.
In Japan they will be available from July 29th with prices equivalent of 30 000 yen for the 160 GB model and 35 000 yen for the 320 GB model.
When the new models will be released in Europe or in North America is as yet unclear.
