We tested the new Daniusoft Video Converter Pro for Mac on a MacBook Pro 13″ with a 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1066MHz and a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card with 256MB DDR3 SDRAM, running on Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard.
Installation:
After downloading the software, it’s as easy as most other Mac programs. Just drag and drop to the Application folder. Makes me want to buy a Mac myself…
User interface:
It is clear from the moment the program starts that this software is very polished, and it is all Mac. It is also very intuitive, the screen below is the first you see. It doesn’t get more user friendly than this.
Just drag and drop the movie that you would like to convert, or add effects to, and you find this menu where you can add watermarks, make small adjustments, and even add a picture or logo that shows in the converted movie. You can also change the size and visibility of the watermark and picture. And you can add effects to the movie as well.
It is in the next menu that the software really shows you what it is capable of. You can even extract only the sound if you wish. Perfect for concert DVD’s. Take a look at the screenshot below and you get a small idea of what formats the software is ready to convert almost any file to.
Pick the format you would like the movie to be converted to, and go… or you can make your own adjustments if you would like to change the presets, like this:
After you have made your adjustments, it’s just a matter of time until the movie is in the format you have chosen. Ready to play on your favourite player.

Daniusoft Video Converter Pro for Mac is a quality products that offers even more than it promises. It is one of the fastest video converters I have tried so far, and it is very easy to use. It had no trouble with ripping DRM DVD’s and no errors were recorded during the testing, which is quite impressive.
