Sony Ericsson launches LiveView, a wireless interactive mini display, that communicates with your phone via Bluetooth.

Sony Ericsson describes the Ipod-like device as an interactive mini-screen with 128×128 pixels. LiveView has an OLED screen with 128×128 pixels and some interaction elements such as 4-way navigation (touch sensors at the front, just at the edges of the screen) and two hard buttons, one for power on and off and for menu selection.

LiveView communicates with your phone over Bluetooth and can display incoming calls, Facebook messages and incoming SMS. You can also control the music player and set calendar reminders.

These are the specs and default included features:

Developers will be able to implement LiveView support in their applications much like a traditional Android widget on the computer. To find LiveView enabled applications, Sony Ericsson has developed the LiveWare Manager application. It will scan Android Market for LiveView enabled applications and present them to the user.
