Twitter announced yesterday, in a blog post, that the company has entered into a partnership with Apple. This partership means that users of Apple’s music service Ping can share the music they listen to via Twitter.

When clicking on a song in Ping you can choose to share your song with your friends on Twitter. Your Twitter friends will then see a box where they can listen to a preview of the song in the browser and also buy the song on iTunes.

This new function currently only works in the 23 countries where it is possible to buy music on iTunes.
