Yesterday, Microsoft‘s President of the Windows and Windows Live Division, Steven Sinofsky, started a new blog named Building Windows 8. The blog is meant to describe the ongoing work with the operating system and also show new features at regular intervals.

“We’ve heard people express frustration over how little we’ve communicated so far about Windows 8. We’ve certainly learned lessons over the years about the perils of talking about features before we have a solid understanding of our ability to execute.”

According to Microsoft, the company wants to use the blog to create a communication with the users where they can get their views on different interfaces or features that are planned for Windows 8.

In June this year, Microsoft showcased parts of the interface in Windows 8 for the first time. From that preview it looks like the upcoming operating system will get a completely redesigned user interface that is quite similar to the one we find on Windows Phone 7.

The blog can be found at Building Windows 8, or you can follow the Microsoft team on Twitter.com/BuildWindows8.
