Registered developers can now download the new beta version of of iOS 5 for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch. On Saturday, Apple made iOS 5 Beta 5 available for download from iOS Dev Center.

New features in iOS 5 Beta 5 (build 9A5288d) includes a new tool for the hearing impaired and Apple has also improved the algorithm for auto-correction. It is also possible to send images directly from the camera roll to the Message app.

For those of you wanting to download the update “over the air”, it should be noted that this time it is needed to delete all content and settings, which means that you should back up all your contents before updating. Since it will take a long time to restore everything,  it is highly recommended to update via iTunes instead.
