Apple has released two more free apps for their new mobile operating system iOS 5, which will be released later today. The new apps are now available for download from the App Store.

Airport Utility allows you to manage an Airport Extreme or Airport Express from an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. System requirement is iOS 5.0 or later.

Find My Friends allows you to keep track of where your friends or family members are from an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with iOS 5.0 or later.

During the day, there has also been reports that Apple’s new cloud service iCloud has now left the beta stage.

While you wait for iOS 5, it is a good idea to update your apps to the latest version. This will reduce the risk of the apps crashing after the upgrade. You should also update to the latest version of iTunes, version 10.5.
