Deezer is a completely web based music service that was launched in France back in 2007. Deezer is quite similar to services like Spotify and Wimp, where the user pays a monthly fee and will be able to listen to unlimited music from Deezer’s catalog of 13 million songs. There is also a free version, but it limits the listening to 30 seconds per song, more like a trial version.

Deezer launched in the UK in September, but now, at the conference Le Web in Paris, they announced that the service will be rolled out in 130 countries. The international launch of the service will take place during December and January.

In September, Deezer also entered into a partnership with Facebook, just like Spotify. Deezer is also partnering with mobile operators in the countries where the service is now launched.
