The Japanese publisher Square Enix would like to find out how smart you are, and launches Mensa Academy. As in other puzzle games we are promised a wide selection mini-games, all of which will be both entertaining and stimulating. These are all fully endorsed by Mensa, so according to Square Enix the IQ tests in the game maintains a high standard.

“Mensa Academy is the most credible game of its kind to date from the definitive experts in the field of measuring and fostering intelligence. The power of the mind is fascinating, the real challenge is how to best maximise its potential. Mensa Academy tangibly tackles this in a user-friendly way, whilst providing hours of entertainment,” according to Roger Cheung, Head of Acquisitions at Square Enix Europe

The game trains you in five different disciplines: Numeracy, Language, Logic, Memory, and Visual intelligence. It offers over 100 different levels, all of which can be played over and over again. Although the game’s website looks a bit childish, it should be suitable for people of all ages.

Mensa Academy is developed by Silverball Studios and Barnstorm Games. The game will be out on July 27, for consoles, PC, mobile phones and 3DS.
