According to previous numbers from Samsung, the company has sold around 24 million of the Galaxy S and 28 million of the Galaxy S II since the two phones launched.

Samsung now welcomes their new flagship, the Galaxy S III, and predicts that it will sell more than its predecessors combined.

In a statement to Reuters, the head of Samsung Mobile Communications, JK Shin, said that the company will sell ten million units of Galaxy S III worldwide, during July.

The Galaxy S III was released in Europe on May 29, and in the U.S. last week. According to The Verge, the phone has more than 9 million pre-orders in the U.S. alone.
