WikiLeaks is about to publish more than 1.7 million documents from U.S. intelligence and diplomacy, according to founder Julian Assange. The material will be posted on WikiLeaks’ website and will be searchable. The documents which are from 1973 to the end of 1976 includes papers sent to and from former Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger.

Assange told the British news agency Press Association that the material will show how damaging the U.S. influence in the rest of the world really is.

WikiLeaks sent shock waves into the diplomatic world in 2010, when the organization announced over 250,000 diplomatic reports and letters.
