Motorola Mobility, a company owned by Google, is scheduled to announce their new Android phone on August 1 in New York. Now both photos and technical details about the alleged smartphone Moto X has leaked online. The phone will reportedly be a replacement for the LG Nexus 4, so it will not a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the HTC One.

According to the pictures it looks like the back will be made of Kevlar like previous Motorola phones. According to the rumors, the Moto X will feature a 720p 4.5-inch display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.

The Moto X will also feature a 10 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It will be running Android 4.2.2, have support for LTE, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.
