Yesterday, Apple opened up for ordering iPhone X. The company’s website showed delivery times pushed out to five to six weeks for the phone, compared to an initial plan of Nov. 3.

“We can see from the initial response, customer demand is off the charts. We’re working hard to get this revolutionary new product into the hands of every customer who wants one, as quickly as possible.” an Apple spokeswoman told Reuters

Rumors have been floating for weeks, suggesting Apple is facing some trouble with its iPhone X production. Some reports have said that Face ID has been the bottleneck, and others have said Apple is having trouble getting enough screens for its upcoming smartphone.
